North Division

Forward: Hunter Stockseth, Springfield Pics

Stockseth (‘05/Blandford, Mass.) was a scoring machine for the Pics, setting up six goals and scoring a pair of his own for an eight-point showcase performance in just three games. Stockseth joined the Pics when he was 14 years old, joining the 15U team before playing two seasons with the Pics’ USPHL 16U squad. He currently has 13 points in 14 games in his junior rookie season. 

 

Defense: James Delaney, Springfield Pics

Delaney had a fantastic weekend in which he put together two goals and three assists (including 1-3-4 against Elmira) to bypass his 2021-22 total of seven points, improving to eight on this second Elite campaign. The ‘05 out of Palmer, Mass., is another longtime Pic who has played at the USPHL 15U and USPHL 16U levels with Stockseth prior to joining the Elite team full-time last year. 

 

Goaltender: Anthony Lacroix, Islanders Hockey Club

A 2003-born native of Oklahoma, Lacroix continued to rack up the wins for the IHC at their own event over the past weekend. He posted two victories against the P.A.L. Jr. Islanders and the New York Aviators, stopping 58 of 61 shots for the weekend save percentage of .951. 

 

Mid-Atlantic Division

Forward: Jake Bergmann, New York Aviators

Bergmann, an ‘03 out of California, was a force this weekend for the Aviators. He helped get the win against the Bridgewater Bandits, with one goal and assist. Over the four games he totaled three goals and one assist. He has an 11-8-19 line in 16 games, placing him third on the Aviators. 

 

Defense: Daniel Jung,  P.A.L. Jr. Islanders

The P.A.L. defenseman (‘05/Selden, N.Y.) helped get the win Friday against the Springfield Pics, posting his first goal and second assist of the season. The team picked up three points in a weekend in which they faced the iron of the North Division in three of their four games. 

 

Goaltender: Bryan Hirtzel, P.A.L. Jr. Islanders

Hirtzel (‘05/Bethpage, N.Y.) got his first shutout while facing against the Springfield Pics on

Saturday, making 15 saves for the blanking. OVerall, this season, Hirtzel stands at 4-2 with a 2.07 goals against average and a .913 save percentage.
